Job Title: Weekend Coffee Shop Assistant

Salary: Competitive salary + other benefits

Tenure: Permanent 

Hours: Part Time must be available to work shifts on both Saturdays and Sundays.

Location: We are recruiting for both Penwortham and Fulwood locations

We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a weekend assistant at either of our speciality coffee shops.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and serve a variety of speciality coffee beverages with precision and consistency
• Take food orders and serve food to customers
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, including coffee machines, equipment, and front-of-house areas
• Clear and clean tables promptly, ensuring a welcoming environment for our valued customers
• Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have about our coffee offerings and food menu
• Uphold high standards of customer service, ensuring every customer leaves satisfied and eager to return
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and smooth service
• Other duties as required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential

• Outgoing, friendly, and enthusiastic about coffee
• A willingness to develop strong customer service skills, with the ability to engage and connect with a diverse range of customers
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable

• Previous barista experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided to the right candidate
